Game Recap

The Tigers got on the board in the top of the second inning after Wallace McMillan grounded out, and Josiah Saran singled down the left field line, each scoring one run.

A single by McMillan extended the lead to 4–0 in the top of the third inning.

Patrick McClain earned the win. The right-handed pitcher allowed three hits and zero runs over five innings, striking out three, and walking four. Cotler took the loss for St. Anne's-Belfield. The hurler went four innings, allowing four runs (two earned) on five hits, striking out five, and walking five. Henry Sydnor appeared in relief for the Tigers.

The JV Tigers amassed nine hits in the game. McMillan led the team, going 2-for-3 on the day, with three runs batted in from the number eight spot in the lineup. Jackson Whitley also collected two hits. Hugh Mangum was walked three times. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, tallying nine walks for the game.
