Attending Athletic Events on Campus

We have changed the attendance policy for home athletic events.

As of Friday, May 7, we are allowing two guests per visiting team athlete.
Each guest must meet one of the following:

1. Guest must be fully vaccinated.

2. Guest must have had a negative PCR test result in the last 72 hours, or a negative rapid test result the day of the visit.

3. Guest must have recovered from COVID in the last 90 days.

Visiting team guests will sign in at the front of campus.

We know not everyone is able to visit and attend games. WFSPN and the athletic office are working to offer livestreams or radio broadcasts for as many games as possible. We will share links and updates via the parent newsletter, and many coaches also email out links to broadcasts.

Athletic excellence is a tradition at Woodberry. There’s a sport, and the right level of competition, for everyone. We encourage each boy to compete on a wide range of teams, though there are also chances for students with particular gifts to receive extra training in a specific sport. Your teammates will become some of your closest friends as you work side-by-side to build a successful season.

Woodberry’s coaches are dedicated to helping you improve your personal growth as a student, whether you’re a college prospect or playing your first season. These are the same men and women who teach you in the classroom, and they are devoted to getting to know your strengths and helping you do more than you thought was possible. Win or lose, athletics at Woodberry, an all-boys, all-boarding school in the Mid Atlantic, is all about character development, with a focus on grace and humility.
