Summary

In the semifinals, the Tigers faced off against the host team, Elizabethton HS. The first half was a back-and-forth affair, with Woodberry holding an eight-point lead. The Tigers pushed the lead to as many as 15 in the second half, but the Cyclones wouldn't go away. In the end, Woodberry escaped with the victory. The Tigers held Elizabethton to 36% from the field, but allowed them to shoot 11/30 from three-point range. Woodberry shot 52% from the field, outscored the Cyclones, 64–18 in the paint, and recorded 25 assists on 35 field goals.
